FOUNDER OF TEMPLE
The Indo-Khmer Theravada Buddhist Society of New Delhi was established in 1991 to promote the teachings of Theravada Buddhism, foster cultural ties between India and Cambodia. We are committed to preserving Buddhist heritage, supporting community welfare, and spreading the values of peace, compassion, and wisdom.

Cambodia New Year 2026 (Khmer New Year / Choul Chnam Thmey)
Cambodia will celebrate the traditional Khmer New Year from 14 April to 16 April 2026. This three-day national festival is one of the most important cultural and religious celebrations in the Kingdom of Cambodia. The three days are: •Tuesday, 14 April 2026 – Day 1 (Maha Sangkran) •Wednesday, 15 April 2026 – Day 2 (Virak Wanabat / Vanabot) •Thursday, 16 April 2026 – Day 3 (Virak Loeung Sak / Tanai Lieang Saka) We warmly wish everyone a Happy Khmer New Year 2026, filled with peace, happiness, and prosperity.
